Program Overview
The purpose of the Graduate Certificate program is to introduce students to the primary resource for a sustainable Christian ministry by interpreting and communicating the Scriptures of the Old and New Testament. This 18-credit hour certificate requires satisfactory completion of the program under the supervision of faculty with the encouragement of fellow students and mentors.
Program Outcome
Upon successful completion of the Graduate Certificate in Christian Studies, students will obtain these results.
Understand Scripture as a Unified Whole
Summarize the covenantal structure of the Bible, emphasizing its role in revealing God’s redemptive plan and equipping His people for kingdom work.
Master Biblical Interpretation and Communication
Demonstrate skillful exegesis and effectively communicate Scripture to diverse audiences through clear and faithful interpretation.

Requirements for Applicants
1) Completed application form and payment of application fee
2) Pastor’s or Mentor’s recommendation form that documents applicant’s ministry gifts and activities
3) Bachelor’s degree
4) Official transcripts from undergraduate program(s)
5) Current government-issued photo identification
